Poster Design & Title Animation for the Movie Aum Penjor
Karma Jerry Cinema, a renowned feature film production company, has a legacy of creating blockbuster hits. Their latest project, Aum Penjor, explores the story of a transgender individual in Bhutan, offering a poignant and groundbreaking narrative. Since its release, it has captured the hearts of Bhutanese and international audiences alike, becoming one of the top-grossing Bhutanese films of 2024.
Designing the poster and title animation for the movie Aum Penjor was truly a one-of-a-kind project. While we’ve worked on numerous feature film posters in the past, this project presented a unique challenge: the film centers on the life of a transgender individual in Bhutan, a subject rarely explored in Bhutanese cinema. Our task was to create a design that would resonate with a local audience unfamiliar with such themes while staying true to the essence of the story. Thanks to the incredible cast and crew, the project turned out to be a resounding success, breaking new ground and contributing to an important conversation through art.
